EAOnline.ca is now in the process of moving to another server. Please be patient until the task is completed, and post any question or comments in the community.
New League Template!
Soon, we will be unveiling the new template that eaonline.ca leagues will be offered to switch to. A graphic / layout specialist has been offered the project, so you can expect something really well done. Including many new features, a new layout and an admin panel to make live easier to commish, this new template will also be used for version 2008 of your favorite hockey game.
New Addition?
For those wondering what next is coming at eaonline.ca, let's say that we are in the progress of adding a server of COD, along with a website and a community section.
On the website will be listed current players as well as stats updated in real-time.
If your hockey season is over, and for all the rainy days, we will have something to keep you awake!
EAOnline.ca addition : Ladders?
The latest EAOnline.ca project I've been working on for some time now is the EAOLadders. Some might already know what a ladder is but for others, it's a system to rank players based on games they play.
Using the EAOLive application, players will have nothing to report as scores and stats will be transfered automatically. You will have way more than only the number of games played, loss and wins, but all the stats you know from a league game : each players stats, faceoffs %, passing %, one timers %, goals per period etc. The exact ranking calculation system is still to come. A feature to detect disconnections and ratings modification are also included so cheaters will be identified easily and removed.
At first, we will be offering two types of Ladders, one SIM STYLE and the other one ARCADE STYLE (no rules). Later on, people will be able to RENT A LADDER and manage it the way they want, setting up the rules and difficulty settings that will be applied using the EAOLive application when players will start their game.
Tournaments and prizes are also in the process of beeing included.
